After a good, but too short night of sleep, we grab some coffee and croissants and hit the road to Poitiers and had a sunny, warm drive.
In 3,5h we arrived at Barthotel, which I loved since it was so kitch.
We met this tiny dog which we wanted to take along as a vandoggie, but he realised what we were up to, started barking his lungs out and ran off.
Walt provided us with some good flamenco-tunes
We got to Confort Moderne, that turned out to be a really cool complex with the venue, galleries, a fanmagotheque (a library filled with fanzines from all over the world), rehearsalspace, a tiny record shop, etc.
We devoured our cheesedessertplate for that night, delicious.
The venue was filled with skeletons and neon lights.
(Less playboy is more cowboy)
I spend some money on records, and I’m save for Christmas this year.
Souncheck went well and we were ready for the night.
Kept myself from stealing this one
The concert went well, Dark Dark Dark was amazing (I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of hearing these songs) and we had our little DDD+LLB shop all ready, while the DJ had a private party
It was a long day, ready to power off. Over and out.
